The 21st G7 summit held on June 15–17, 1995, gathered world leaders and media to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Over a period of two days, the world focused on the city, the province, and the region. It’s estimated that more than 5,000 people attended, including 2,000 members of the media, 2,000 delegates and about 1,000 security people. The provincial government’s goals looked to promote the region as a destination for tourists and to open up business opportunities. Starting June 14, their Summit Odyssey included outdoor experiences devoted to highlighting the province's contribution to the film industry. The Nova Scotia Film and Video Producers Association hired 123 media design to develop an interactive kiosk, on display for four days. What I don’t miss from this era is CLUTs (look it up) and maximizing 256 RGB colour space for all screens and video.
